Dante B Maddalena Jr.

Dante B. Maddalena, 75, of Smithfield, passed away Wednesday April 24th.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Dante and Virginia (Lima) Maddalena.

Mr. Maddalena served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  After the war he was employed by RIPTA for over 35 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by a son, Jason C. Maddalena; two daughters, Danielle Henricksen and Vanessa Volante; a brother, Richard Maddalena; and a sister Lorraine Maddalena; four grandchildren, Isabella E. Maddalena, Austin M. Isaacs, Jason C. Maddalena, Jr., and Miguel Davis.   He was the father of the late Michael J. Maddalena and brother of the late Henry Ciolfi and Linda Harris.

A memorial service will be held at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Friday May 3rd at 11:00 am, followed by military honors.  Burial will be private
